It’s birthday time again!

Say it isn’t so, it is already birthday time again.
One of my girlfriends asked me the other day if I was going to be sending Grayson to preschool in the fall,
It caught me off guard that it was already time to think about preschool!
So here we are, with our birthday wish-list.

It feels a little harder to put together a list for him this time,
he likes soo many different things these days. One day he is obsessed with cars, the next day is something different.
Right now he is super into doing puzzles, any and all kinds. (age appropriate of course)
Also, one of the first things that comes to mind for Grayson is PLAY-DOH. He loves it.
He watches YouTube videos (and will as long as let him) with play-doh all.the.time.
So I will definitely start his list off with that, this, or this Cars set might be a favorite.
But I think he would love something like this Meal Makin Kitchen, he does have a new love for Spiderman.
Ever since I had Grayson, I’ve been excited for him to be old enough to “pretend”
I think he is just about there, he makes me “cookies” and he makes me pretend to eat them..
I saw this Play Doctor Set last year and have saved it for this birthday, I think it’s PERFECT start pretending with!
I also found this awesome book, it is a little expensive but its custom to his name, and I love the illustrations
and way they write it so I think it’s worth it.
Also, I have building his collection of awesome t-shirts made by small shops,
next on my list is the Jesus Saves Bro t-shirt. (he’ll probably need a size 4, grey or black)
Something else he talks nonstop about is “Hulk” and mashing everything in site.
Hulk + Play Doh = can’t go wrong.
I have also wanted to get him on a bike, I know the newest thing is these balance bikes..
So I asked some friends and found one that I think is perfect.
Lastly, his other obsession is Paw Patrol. Anything and everything..three years old

My life :: San Diego zoo

We had a dermatology appointment in San Diego a few weeks ago,
I thought it would be nice to end our day at the zoo after another lame appointment.
I told him we were going in the morning and it’s all he could talk about until we got there.
He doesn’t just love the animals, but the chance to run free.
And I love how tired he is at night..

It’s a good thing he knew where he was going, because I sure didn’t.
It was so hot, I probably would have left earlier than we did…
but I didn’t know where the exit was!
FV8A6049Most of my pictures are this… him staring into a cage or aquarium. FV8A6051Yes, same shirt as our other post.
I figured a public place like the zoo is as good of a place as any to witness to people.
I heard lots of comments about it too. Mission accomplished.FV8A6052His happy face.FV8A6056I love dates with my boy.

“Anana backture”

That’s all I hear these days when we are driving in the car, which in Grayson language means “another tractor”. He’s obsessed! He thinks a lot of things are tractors though, cranes, dump trucks, pretty much any and all heavy equipment. I tell him what each are but he still insists they are tractors. It makes our car rides somewhat enjoyable considering most of his life he’s hated them.

They are building something on one of the main big roads near our town and have these huge pieces of equipment there. I love when we get to go that way because he gets soo excited. They have these massive dump trucks lined up and I knew I wanted to stop one day and take a picture. So over 4th of July weekend I may Scott pull over for me. I want to get it printed and hang it in the playroom somewhere so he can see it.tractorYou will be so surprised at how many tractors you see if you start looking when you drive, I am constantly spotting them even without Grayson there. Then I get sad he isn’t there to see them! So go ahead, I dare you not to spot all the tractors all around you. Hope your Monday is a good one!
